Q: How do I create an account?
A: Within the app login/sign up page, click the “Continue” button and go through onboarding.
Q: What is included with my subscription?
A: Your subscription gives you full access to all of GentleGut’s features, including food scanning, symptom tracking, bowel movement logging, insights and analytics, charts, the FODMAP database, and more.
Q: How to I log food?
A: You can log food in various ways: by taking a picture, by writing a description, in bulk, and directly from the FODMAP database.
To scan: Go to Home and press the black ‘+’ button. Tap “Scan food”. Move the camera so whatever food you want to scan is within the camera view, then tap the camera button. Once analyzed, tap “Save” to save the scan, where you can view it again in Home.
To describe: Go to Home and press the black ‘+’ button. Tap “Describe”. Write your description and press “Analyze”.
To log in bulk: Go to Home and press the black ‘+’ button. Tap “Describe”. Then tap “Bulk entry”.
